At the Islandia Justice Court, I am able to resolve most of the Speeding Tickets and Traffic Tickets without my clients ever having to be present in court

I have been handling Traffic cases for over 20 years. I am at the Islandia Court every Thursday during the court session and I also go there a few times a week to file demands and schedule court cases. Over the years my representation has resulted in thousands of traffic tickets being dismissed or reduced.

Islandia Traffic Tickets

Most of the tickets people receive going through Islandia are speeding tickets. Most involve speeding on the Long Island Expressway near exit 58. Tickets received on the main portion of the expressway are usually handed out by Suffolk County Deputy Sheriffs. Most often these tickets are printed out from the Sheriffs vehicle on thermal paper similar to the old style fax paper. Tickets received on the service road are usually handed out by Suffolk County Police officers. These tickets are usually hand written.

The problem is that all speeding ticket convictions have adverse consequences. To begin with, all speeding tickets carry points. The higher, over the speed limit, the speed, the higher the points. Most of the speeding tickets I see coming through the Islandia Court are 6 and 8 point violations. If you accumulate over 10 points on your license during an 18 month period (the 18 month period calculated using the dates of violation) the DMV will suspend your license. Also if you are convicted of 3 speeding tickets with dates of violations within an 18 month period, DMV will suspend your license for 6 months. If you plead guilty or are convicted of a 6 point speeding ticket, aside from the fine and surcharge that the court imposes, you will also be required to pay a $300 driver assessment fee. If you plead guilty or are convicted of an 8 point speeding ticket, the driver assessment fee is $450. That is providing you have no points already on your license. If you already have points on your license, the driver assessment fee will increase. This is in addition to increased insurance premiums that you can expect with a speeding ticket conviction.

As an Islandia Traffic Lawyer, I have handled a considerable number of traffic tickets in the Islandia Court. I am in the Islandia Village Court on almost every court session, negotiating with the same prosecutor and same judges. While the ultimate resolution of your case will depend on a number of factors, my goal on every traffic ticket I handle in that court, is for my clients to end up with NO POINTS on their license. In fact in most of the cases, I am able to get the tickets dismissed or reduced to 0 points.

Please feel free to contact me. Upon consultation, I will be able to tell you what you can reasonably expect the outcome of your case to be with my representation. There is never a fee for the consultation.
